Shipping Policy

Chef at Hand Products Limited ships via Canada Post Expedited Service which delivers to just about any mailing address in Canada.  Expedited service offers three-day service once your order is processed and a confirmation email is sent to you.  Shipping rates are based on regular seven-day ground service, not guaranteed Express, so the shorter shipping time is a bonus. We will do our best to get your order to you quickly, but we are a brand new company so we appreciate your patience in case we slip up.

Online ordering is open 24/7/364 and inventory confirmation should be immediate.  If an item is out-of-stock, it cannot be placed in your cart and you cannot be charged.  Order processing for shipping initiation is done Monday thru Friday 9am thru 3pm PST only as Canada post must register package internally in order to initiate Expedited Service.  If your order is placed and confirmed late Friday, expect shipping to be initiated Monday. Processing and shipping are closed during holidays.

Chef at Hand Products Limited is not responsible for Canada Post or other freight carrier delays caused by weather, holidays, postal strikes, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Certain products and/or certain delivery addresses may qualify for shipping surcharges, but in those cases, purchasers would be advised by Chef at Hand Products Limited via email, of additional charges, before confirming delivery.

Rates

Shipping rates are posted on our rates page.  Since we are Vancouver-based, shipping rates to the western provinces will be lower. This is not by design, rather dictated by Canada Post.

Minimum Purchase

We have no minimum purchase, but since you are paying freight based on incremental net purchases, it makes sense to take advantage of the flat rates, and fill the box.

Disputes

We will always do our best to keep you happy.  It is in our best interest and yours to end the day feeling good about your purchase and happy to refer Chef at Hand to your friends.

International orders

At this time we are delivering exclusively within Canada.

Damage Claims

Damage claims must be made within 24 hours of receipt of delivery, by emailing info@chefathand.com. Shipping and order details must be included.

Local Delivery Arrangements

By special arrangement, it may be possible to arrange local (Vancouver, BC) delivery or pick-up of your order. Please inquire via email to info@chefathand.com
